An international root that gives almost nothing away, which is the point: , muzika, for a musician, o for an instrument (a music-tool, built from --). The verb to watch is , since you play music the same way you play a game: , . Muziki also exists for making music, but it is less common. The stress falls on the middle syllable, mu-ZI-ko, since Esperanto always stresses the penultimate, which catches out speakers of languages that front-load the word.
