Esperanto builds this one from the root oft- with the usual endings, so you get the adjective ofta (frequent) and the noun o (frequency) for free, and for seldom. The question is , patterned on and , not a single dedicated word. Word order is loose: can sit before the verb, after it, or at the head of the sentence for emphasis, and none of those is more correct than the others.
