is an individual, usually one being counted or pointed at. Where English says "people" in the general sense, Esperanto normally wants : , not . Keep for the countable, administrative, slightly formal use - three people at a table, the persons named in a contract. It also carries the grammatical sense, so is first person, and it gives a, e (personally) and for personality.
