The trap is which side of the transaction becomes the object. In careful Esperanto you per : the recipient is the direct object and the goods arrive with per. English lets you say "provide water to the town", and is understood, but the per pattern is the safer habit and the one the classics use. Provizo is a stock or supply, o a storeroom. Do not read , which means temporary, as anything to do with supplying: it is a separate word doing a separate job.
