A clean demonstration of what the affix system is for. Reto is a net, -ej- marks the place where something happens (lernejo school, kuirejo kitchen), and retejo is the place on the net. Nobody had to vote on it: the parts existed and speakers assembled them as the web arrived, which is the modern hand-inserted class of word rather than anything in the Fundamento. You will also see retpaĝaro for the same thing, literally a collection of net pages, and both are current.
