encore or toujours?

Both can mean still, and only one of them means always.

The rule

toujours is ALWAYS, and also STILL when the situation has not changed. encore is AGAIN, or YET when negative. Il travaille toujours ici means he still works here; il travaille encore means he is working again, or working more.
