Hold a real tandem call
Fifteen minutes in French, fifteen in English, with a real person. The Tandem app helps you find the partner.
Find a partner on Tandem (or use the one you found on Conversation Exchange) and hold a call of about half an hour: fifteen minutes in French, fifteen in English. Agree a topic beforehand so you are not stuck for words. Afterwards, send a short thank-you message in French saying one thing you learned.
Your partner is a learner too, so mistakes are expected on both sides. Ten minutes of real conversation teaches more than an hour of worrying about it.

Merci beaucoup pour l'appel d'aujourd'hui, et pour ton aide avec le « r » français. On se reparle la semaine prochaine ? Si tu veux, cette fois, on commence en anglais.
