Conjugating -ir verbs
Present-tense conjugation for the verbs you just learned, with a worksheet to drill the endings.
The short version
The nous form tells you which -ir verb you have
French -ir verbs split into camps, and the nous form gives the game away. If it carries -iss- (nous finissons, nous choisissons), the verb is textbook second group. Plain -ons after a short stem (nous partons, nous dormons) means the partir type, which drops a consonant in the singular.
Nous finissons le repas.
