Conjugating -re verbs
Present-tense conjugation for the verbs you just learned, with a worksheet to drill the endings.
The short version
Il attend takes no ending at all
The regular -re verbs are the only common French pattern where the third-person singular adds nothing: il attend, il perd, il vend, il répond. Every other group bolts on a -t or an -e there, so the bare stem feels wrong for weeks. It is not wrong; il attendt does not exist.
Il perd ses clés.
That's the gist. The full article goes deeper - more examples, the edge cases, the why - and the practice below scores like a vocabulary session and earns the same XP.
