Hear the news from Québec
Radio-Canada is Canada's French-language public broadcaster. Read a story, then play a video report and listen to the accent.
Open Radio-Canada and find a story with a video report. Read the article first, then watch the report and listen to how the Québécois speakers sound. Write three sentences in French: what the story is about, one difference you noticed in the accent or the words, and how much you understood.
Headlines are written to be quick, and the same few hundred words come round every day. Skip what you do not know and hold on to what you do.
An example you can adapt
J'ai regardé une vidéo sur l'hiver à Montréal. L'accent est très différent de l'accent de Paris, surtout les voyelles. Avec l'article, j'ai presque tout compris.
I watched a video about winter in Montreal. The accent is very different from the Paris accent, especially the vowels. With the article, I understood almost everything.
