Quisquis is the general relative, "whoever, whatever", made by doubling quis. In practice it barely declines: you meet the nominative quisquis, the neuter quidquid, spelt quicquid just as often, and the ablative quoquo, and very little else. The fuller quicumque declines properly and is commoner in careful prose.

It takes the indicative where English drifts towards a subjunctive: quidquid id est, timeo Danaos, "whatever it is, I fear the Greeks". Keep it apart from two near-identical words that do different jobs. Quisque is "each" of a set, and attaches to superlatives and ordinals. Quisquam is "anyone" in a negative or interrogative clause. Three doubled forms, three grammars.
