有礼貌(yǒu lǐ mào) - polite in Mandarin

有礼貌 (yǒu lǐmào) means "polite". 有 (yǒu) is "to have", and 礼貌 (lǐmào) is the noun "politeness, manners", so the phrase literally says "to have manners"; Chinese frequently builds descriptive phrases this way, with 有 (yǒu) plus a noun, rather than with a single adjective.
