is transitive: you bend or tilt something. To bend yourself, use i or sin - as, the tree leans. English hides this distinction behind one verb, so the mistake is writing when you mean is. The root also gives klino for a slope or inclination and is not related, despite looking as if it should be. Note that the metaphorical English sense of being inclined to do something is emi in Esperanto, not .
