means flawless, and unlike English it has no grammatical second life: Esperanto verb tenses are not called perfect, so the word never wanders into that territory. The verb i means to perfect something and i to become perfect, both built with the usual suffixes. A useful neighbour is , good with -- on it, which is nearer to excellent or splendid and is what Esperantists actually say when praising something; is the stronger, more absolute claim. Neperfekta and a both circulate for imperfect, with - the safer choice.
