The Pater Noster, word by word
The Our Father as a grammar lesson: the prayer is jussive subjunctives all the way down, with two imperatives to finish.
The short version
The Our Father is a jussive subjunctive drill
Sanctificetur, adveniat, fiat - the first three petitions of the Pater Noster are all jussive subjunctives: may it be hallowed, may it come, may it be done. The prayer everyone half-knows is the cleanest subjunctive practice in Latin, and dimitte and libera at the end hand you the plain imperative for contrast.
fiat voluntas tua - may your will be done
That's the gist. The full article goes deeper - more examples, the edge cases, the why - and the practice below scores like a vocabulary session and earns the same XP.
