Ante takes the accusative and never anything else, whether it means 'in front of' in space or 'before' in time. It doubles as an adverb meaning 'previously', and in that use it is regularly preceded by an ablative of measure: tribus ante diebus, 'three days earlier'. Its natural opposite is post, which also takes the accusative, so the pair costs you one case rather than two. Antequam, 'before' as a conjunction, is ante welded to quam.
