向右拐 (xiàng yòu guǎi) means turn right, giving directions. 向 (xiàng) means "towards", 右 (yòu) means "right", and 拐 (guǎi) is the actual verb "to turn"; together they say "turn towards the right".
拐 (guǎi) is the verb that does the work here, and it is worth learning on its own: 往右拐 (wǎng yòu guǎi) is an equally common variant using 往 (wǎng, towards) instead of 向 (xiàng), with no real difference in meaning.
Direction-giving Mandarin leans on a small set of building blocks: 一直走 (yìzhí zǒu, go straight on), 向右拐 (xiàng yòu guǎi, turn right) and its mirror 向左拐 (xiàng zuǒ guǎi, turn left). Learning all three together, rather than 向右拐 in isolation, is what actually gets you around a town.
