Conjugating -ar verbs

Present-tense conjugation for the verbs you just learned, with a worksheet to drill the endings.

The boot: why pienso but pensamos

Stem-changing -ar verbs keep the regular endings and mutate the stressed vowel in yo, tú, él and ellos only, because those are the forms where the stress lands on the stem. Nosotros and vosotros keep the original vowel. Three patterns cover the top thousand, and jugar is the only verb in Spanish that does u to ue.
