is intransitive: things fall by themselves, and there is no object. To drop something is i, with the causative --, and English speakers reach for there far too often. Where the falling ends up takes the accusative of direction - , not - because the ground is the destination, not the location during. Where it falls from takes . The root builds enfali, i (to fall apart) and falo for a fall in every sense, including the political kind.
