to take care of, look after; to worry

Examples

.

She looks after the children.

Do not worry about me!

.

He took care of the horses every morning.

, .

I will see to it that everything is ready.

The mother is caring for her sick son.

The preposition is , always: you something, never about it with or a bare object. English merges two ideas here that Esperanto keeps in one word - practical care and mental fretting - so context decides which you mean. Zorgo is a worry or a responsibility, zorga means careful, zorge carefully, and senzorga is the enviable adjective for carefree.
