Conversation Exchange is a free site where you can find French speakers who are learning your language.
Create a profile on Conversation Exchange, search for French speakers learning English, and send two or three of them a short message in French: who you are, why you are learning, and when you are free. Suggest half an hour in each language.
Your partner is a learner too, so mistakes are expected on both sides. Ten minutes of real conversation teaches more than an hour of worrying about it.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Sam. J'habite à Londres et j'apprends le français depuis un an. Je cherche quelqu'un pour parler une fois par semaine : une demi-heure en français et une demi-heure en anglais. Ça vous intéresse ? Je suis libre le mardi et le jeudi soir.
