One agrees with its noun like any adjective: оди́н день, одна́ ночь. The plural means "alone" or "only", as in одни́ де́ти, only children. Where the accusative shows two forms, the first is for things and the second - the same as the genitive - is for people and animals: я ви́жу э́тот дом, but я ви́жу э́того челове́ка.
