haya or había?
Even a finished event takes the subjunctive if the main clause doubts it.
The rule
había is a plain past: it happened, and you are reporting it. haya is the subjunctive: you are doubting it, hoping for it or reacting to it. After no creo que, espero que and me alegra que the auxiliary has to be haya, however finished and certain the event itself feels.
