Open 20 Minutes and read one story right through, not just the headline. Write three sentences in French: what the story says, what you think about it, and why. Use the opinion phrases you know (je pense que, je ne pense pas que, 脿 mon avis) and keep it in your notebook or post it on HelloTalk for corrections.
Headlines are written to be quick, and the same few hundred words come round every day. Skip what you do not know and hold on to what you do.
An example you can adapt
L'article dit que la ville veut fermer le centre aux voitures. 脌 mon avis, c'est une bonne id茅e, mais je ne pense pas que 莽a suffise. Le bus co没te encore trop cher.
The article says the city wants to close the centre to cars. In my opinion it is a good idea, but I do not think it is enough. The bus still costs too much.
