Au nom de (in the name of, on behalf of) est une formule représentative très courante. Nom de code (code name), nom de scène (stage name), nom de plume (pen name) - ces composés sont tous masculins. L'interjection nom d'un chien ! (heavens!, for goodness' sake!) est une exclamation familière euphémique évitant les jurons.
