porque, por qué or porqué?
One asks, one answers, and one is a noun.

(two words, with an accent) asks the question. (one word, no accent) answers it. porqué (one word, with an accent) is a NOUN meaning the reason, and it takes an article: porqué. There is a fourth form, , which is rare enough that leaving it alone will cost you nothing.
