The final polish: avoiding repetition with pronouns and synonyms, the signposting phrases (en primer lugar, en resumen, cabe destacar), given-before-new flow, and the difference between a wall of short sentences and a flowing paragraph.
The short version
Drop the word the reader can already supply
Spanish leaves out anything the context refills and marks the gap with a comma. Yo quiero café y ella, té. Repeating the verb sounds clumsy. Pair that with the dropped subject, which the verb ending already names, and a paragraph stops clattering.
Unos prefieren el mar; otros, la montaña.
