Numerals are bare roots and stay bare. Cent never takes -o, -j or -n, however the noun beside it behaves: cent puts the accusative on and leaves cent alone. There is no word for a in front of it either.
Multiples are written solid, single words: cent, cent, cent. Add endings and you change the part of speech deliberately: is a set of a hundred, is hundredth, is a percentage, and o is a hundredth part.
