Transitive when you are counting something, and when you are counting on it in the English sense of relying. also turns up for the second sense and is widely understood, though is the safer default when a preposition's exact fit is unclear. The root gives kalkulo for a calculation, o for a calculator via the tool suffix --, and o for an accountant. Nekalkulebla means countless, and is one of the tidier ways Esperanto stacks three affixes on one root without anyone blinking.
