The truth arrives late, but it arrives.

Vero is the noun; change the ending and you get vera (true) and vere (truly, really), the last of which peppers spoken Esperanto much as "actually" peppers English. As a direct object it takes the accusative, giving la veron. Note that vere at the head of a sentence often reads as mild protest rather than a claim about facts.
