The derivative you will actually need is i, to redden or blush, because Esperanto has no separate blush root - a face that goes red simply as. a is reddish via the diminutive --, and i is to make something red. Like every colour adjective it agrees fully, so an accusative plural noun drags - along with it: . Learners who come from English often forget the agreement on the colour while remembering it on the noun, which is the one error to watch for here.
