mano

Mano is a good place to drill adjective agreement, because grandajn manojn puts the plural and the accusative on both words at once. Esperanto uses the possessive far less than English does, so en la mano is perfectly natural where English insists on "in my hand". The root gives manlibro for a handbook, though manĝi (to eat) only looks related and has nothing to do with hands.
