Translation
no one; none
Examples
.
Nobody came.
.
I saw nobody in the town.
.
No person knows everything.
.
She spoke with nobody.
.
None of our friends answered.
does two jobs: on its own it means nobody, and in front of a noun it means no ( ). Either way it takes -n as an object ( ) and -j when it goes with a plural noun. Esperanto allows only one negative per clause, so is right and reads as a double negative that cancels out.
